Nothing is more of a turn off than yellow, stained teeth. You can look a million dollars – until you smile – and then the yellow teeth almost shout out that you’re lacking in the mouth hygiene department. Believe me, I’ve tried every teeth whitening process on the market, with a mixture of results. Some products, like strips, can be painful. Whitening toothpastes are disappointing.
I’ve had treatment (very expensive) by a specialist cosmetic dentist – which gave pretty good results – but didn’t last too long (and you have to stay off certain foods and drinks for a week plus sleep with a mouthful of coated “foam” each night!)
So, in short – I’m looking, like millions of other folk for something that keeps your teeth as white as the day God gave them to us!
I’m hacked off with the claims made by most of the product pushers and I’m sceptical that every new product is just a revamp of another paste or strip, but in a different box.
But, I do try out the freebies! And this is how my “accident” happened. I sent off for two different freebies, each claiming to be “the one” etc etc
The results were rubbish with the first product – no better than a slightly aggressive toothpaste. I didn’t even bother with the second product as I thought it would be just more of the same. However, fast forward a couple of weeks and I’m into a clear out of my bedroom cupboard that’s overflowing with old lipstick, make up and all the things us gals tend to collect….
Near the top of this wonderland of bits and pieces was this teeth whitening freebie – I took one cursory look and relegated it to the rubbish pile. Half hour later, my husband popped in with a coffee and gave his usual amazed look at the different piles of stuff covering the bed. He noticed the teeth whitening box – probably because it was unused and he walked off with it – I shouted after him – “Bet it’s rubbish!”
Now, I’m no doctor, dentist or cosmetic dental whizz – but I do know results when I see them. And the results he had after a few days were simply awesome. But, for me, I have to try things for myself and you can only have one freebie per address……Now, I hate to admit this, but I cheated a little here – I got my brother to request another free trial (different address) for me to try – and guess what – the results are very, very impressive. Will it work for everyone – I don’t know – Both my husband and myself have never smoked, so maybe the results are a little better for us. We’re also pretty good with dental hygiene, check ups etc
