Crows Feet
"I have to admit, when I first heard my friends raving and ranting about this new skincare breakthrough, I was skeptical. There was only one way to find out: try it myself. So I did.
First it felt a bit warm, then it felt a bit tight. Finally, it felt as if it was being gently tweaked backwards. It was unnerving. I could actually feel the plumpness around my eye. It felt more firm.
My friend Christine, was with me and she was convinced that my face had lifted. To my astonishment, so was I. If it can do that in a matter of a few minutes, what might an ongoing course achieve? What might I look like after a couple of months?
I was excited.
On doing some research I realized that this is an "all-in-one cream" that reduces the appearances of wrinkles, lines, crow's feet, dark-circles, age-spots, puffy eyes, frown lines, sagging skin, and "feather" lips. There is nothing quite like it in the market for whatever amount of money".
Why? Because it's......READ FULL REPORT

The ideals of beauty as proclaimed in advertisements and commercials are difficult to meet when you grow older. But that is nothing to be ashamed of. In my opinion, it is precisely the imperfection that makes people interesting and beautiful. Showing your wrinkles when aging, instead of hiding them behind a mask of makeup, reflects your wisdom.

Day Five is about a memorable photo.
Today is my parents 27th wedding anniversary :)
Their relationship is still going strong and its really great. I LOVE my dad's crows feet when he smiles its AWESOME. I wish this picture was a little more in focus, but my parents were laughing the whole time I was taking their pictures. I'd like to think this was memorable for them just because it was fun taking these pictures. My parents rock and Im glad I was able to this for them. Now they will always remember that one June 2nd when I made them kiss in our living room <3

This is Josephine, a beautiful Iñupiaq woman I met at the Kotzebue Senior Citizens Center. I can't wait to return to Kotzebue to bring her these photos I made of her, and learn more about her (I wished I could have sat and chatted and ate ptarmigan soup with her, but I had to run off to help with a focus group.) She told me, as I said goodbye, "Friends always come at the right times." I told her, "and I will come back!"
I look forward to coming back and learning from her, because what I have seen from traveling to rural Alaskan places and from learning from Alaska Native people through my personal and professional life is that elder women such as Josephine with so much kindness in their hearts that is so immediately apparent also have so many skills that they acquired over a lifetime (fishing, skinning, butchering, sewing, beading, dancing, storytelling, healing, teaching young people about relationships, the list goes on and on), and have survived the incredible hardships of colonization and the unhealthy consequences that often occurred and occur within families as a result. I look forward to hearing her stories and skills.
